BIO
Jill Benioff, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical Psychologist. She offers vedic astrology workshops, lectures and consultations to individuals, couples, and children. She encourages her clients to embrace their creative gifts, while exploring inherited blocks and challenges. These insights inspire individuals to live in greater alignment with their highest life purpose.
Dr. Benioff is passionate about looking at infant vedic charts before they are born or as young as possible to deepen and solidify the parental knowledge of their child. Learning to encourage a child’s gifts while compassionately working with their challenges can change a child’s and and the world’s future. She works energetically and interactively with couples. She helps the couple create more intimacy and clarity through developing their understanding of how the planets play a role in their emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual connection.
Additionally, she offers astrocartography, targeting geographic connections in a person's astrological chart to highlight locations where they can thrive. Jill studied vedic astrology with teachers in the US, Europe, and India. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from University of San Francisco. Her doctorate research revealed that there is a deeper intimacy in couples that have a shared spirituality. She draws from her 10+ years of experience of Jungian, Somatic and Family Systems Psychology.
What is Vedic Astrology and How Does it Relate to Psychology?
Vedic Astrology is the universal science of light called 'Jyotish' in the Sanskrit language,
it offers a mapping of the planets at the time of birth. Our vedic astrology chart helps us to narrow in on our soul's deeper purpose or destiny by revealing our life direction and the blocks that keep us from living from that place. When we aren't aligned with our true calling, we often become anxious, depressed, and physically depleted. Living from our inherent creativity helps to keep our health in balance, inspires passion toward our true potential, and enables us to connect more deeply with ourselves and others.
